about Me
クルド・トルコ系ドイツ人である私が、自分の育った環境とは全く異なる文化的背景を持つ土地で、外国人女性としてビジネスを立ち上げるという旅でもありました。
私のショップにある厳選されたアイテムは、その旅と私の背景を反映しています。
アルプス地方やドイツなどヨーロッパの国々で生まれたアイテムやブランド、そしてアメリカやトルコに旅行したときの洋服やインテリアがたくさんあります。
サステイナブル・ファッションのムーブメントに貢献し、それを支持してくれるお客さまを願ってのビジネスなのです。
ファストファッションやアパレルブランドが新しいスタイルを生み出し、流行を追い続けることは、気候や地球、そして私たちの消費行動に壊滅的な影響を及ぼします。クローゼットや家にヘリテージ感のあるアイテムがあれば、自分のスタイルを反映しないかもしれない流行を追いかけるのではなく、より長く大切にすることができます。
トレンドや社会が黙認する服装ではなく、自分の好きなもの、自分に似合うものを身につけることを推奨している場所なのです。私たちのモットーは、人生は短いのだから、自分に何が似合うか、何が自分を幸せにしてくれるかを自分で考えるべきだということです。
Our Concept
コンセプトは、ヴィンテージとモダンのミックス（洋服もインテリアも）です。例えば、ワンピースをカジュアルに着こなすには、適切なアイテムでトーンを落とし、特別な日には、特定のアクセサリーでトーンを上げる。そうすることで、大好きだけど、いつ、どうやって着たらいいかわからないというアイテムが、クローゼットの中から出てきて、喜びを与えてくれるのです。
さらに、私たちは、特定のスタイルや年齢、性別に自分を縛りたくはないのです。Hello Darlingは、私たちのコレクションを楽しみ、親切でオープンマインド、そして協力的な交流を大切にし、私たち全員がより責任ある買い物をするようお互いに刺激し合えることを願っている人たちのためにあります。
温かみのあるアパートメントスタイルの店内では、時折イベントを開催し、同じ考えを持つ個人や企業とのコラボレーションを行っています。私たちは、あなたがいつか私たちを訪れ、ショッピングを単なる作業としてではなく、体験として楽しむことができることを願っています。
Hello Darling is a curated collection of vintage, used and modern clothing and interior decor in the heart of Osaka, Japan.
It is not only a store:
It has also been my journey as a German with a Kurdish-Turkish background building a business as a foreign woman in a place culturally very different from how I grew up.
The handpicked items in my shop reflect that journey and my background.
There are a lot of items and brands from the Alpine area, from Germany and other European countries as well as clothing and decor from trips to the USA and Turkey.
It is a business that tries to contribute to the sustainable fashion movement, hoping our customers help support it.
Fast fashion and clothing brands producing new styles and keeping up with trends have a devastating impact on our climate and earth, and also on how we consume. Having pieces in your closet and home with a heritage feel makes you treasure them more and longer, instead of chasing trends that might not even reflect your personal style.
It’s a place that encourages its customers to wear what THEY like and what suits THEM and not what trends and a society silently dictates to wear. Our motto is that life is short and that you should allow yourself to figure out what suits YOU, and what makes YOU happy.
Its concept is to mix vintage with modern (both in clothing and interior) and, for example, tone down a dress and wear it casually through styling it with the right items or tone it up for a more special occasion with certain accessories. That way an item you love but never know when and how to wear gets out of your closet and gives you joy.
On top of that we don’t want to limit ourselves down to a certain style or age or sex. Hello Darling is for anyone who enjoys our collection, cares for a kind, open-minded and supportive interaction, and hopes that we all inspire each other to shop more responsibly.
Its a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a homey apartment style set up in which we occasionally host events and collaborate with likeminded individuals and businesses. We hope you can come and visit us one day and enjoy shopping as an experience rather than just as a shopping task.
